The Swahili meaning of Safari is "travel." Africa has always held a grip on my imagination as an artist, providing inspiration with its stunning mosaic of humanity and nature in its purest form.

My first visit was in 1998, and each return leaves me with a greater yearning to explore deeper the uniqueness of each country within its vast continent.

I feel truly fortunate to experience Africa's powerful raw energy, where creatures run free and wild in their natural habitat among indigenous people with age old traditions and rituals still intact. It will forever inspire my creativity and for that alone I owe much gratitude to beautiful Africa.
