Bobbie Goodrich is known for her textural, painterly photographs of horses and African wildlife. Her artistic process merges the feeling potential of a painting with the realism and authenticity of a photograph. In this Tuscany workshop the rich texture of history will surround students at the Villa Fattoria Bacio and in the nearby Tuscan towns of Certaldo, Sienna and San Gimignano. Students will divide their time between photo trips and learning to use NIK filters software and Photoshop to turn their photography into works of art. Students will use their own cameras and laptop computers in this unique workshop which brings together the newest technologies with ancient subject matter.

Join us for five, full fall days at zapata ranch , our annual, sold-out photography retreat in the San Luis Valley (the highest alpine valley in the world!) in SE Colorado. Surrounded by the drama of the Sangre de Criste mountain range and the great sand dunes national park, 103,000 acres of bison, horses, the historic turn-of-the-century Medano Homestead... not to mention this cozy nature conservancy ranch. With great food served family-style, lots of wine and camaraderie, with intensive post-production sessions in a historic, old barn. This workshop is hard to beat and fills quickly.

Bobbie's workshops provide an opportunity to learn how to bring your photography to the next level. Working from our raw capture taken at an exciting two-day equestrian event, Bobbie will demonstrate and share her approach to evaluating, enhancing and reconstructing an image that will captivate the viewer's imagination.We will spend two days photographing the horse in action, as well as dramatic portraiture and dressage.
